Gail Nunn has practiced law in Everett, Washington since 1987. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree with High Honor from Michigan State University and her Juris Doctor Degree, Cum Laude from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University). For more than 30 years she had devoted 100% of her practice to all aspects of family law, including dissolution, modifications, adoptions, and guardianships. Ms. Nunn now focuses her practice on collaborative cases and mediation/arbitration. She has served on both the Snohomish County Superior Court and South District Court as both a judge pro tempore and commissioner pro tempore. Ms. Nunn was admitted as a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2012. She has received extensive mediation training through her involvement in Collaborative Law. This includes a 40 hour training at the Center for Understanding in Conflict and annual continuing education. She has been very active in a variety of Washington State Bar association committees. In addition she has been a board member and past board president of Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County. She is current president of Collaborative Professionals of Washington. She won the Snohomish County Equal Access to Justice Award in 2000. She has had two published appellate cases, and in 2017 successfully argued a domestic violence case before the Washington State Supreme Court (see Aiken v. Aiken, No 92631-0, decided en banc, January 2017)
