Ashleigh joins Nunn Vhan & Lang, P.L.L.C. after three years clerking with the Honorable Beth M. Andrus—first at King County Superior Court, then at Division One for the Washington State Court of Appeals. Ashleigh’s direct experience with the judiciary guides her practice as she launches her career as a family law attorney.

As Ashleigh navigated the end of her own marriage in the midst of clerking, she discovered her passion for family law—a desire to ensure that all those contending with the end of a partnership receive outstanding and compassionate representation.  Ashleigh loves working with people, and the profoundly human element of family law allows her to use her legal knowledge to help her clients maintain their values and identity in what can be a stressful and disheartening time. She seeks to counsel her clients in a way that mitigates the trauma of the sometimes overwhelming experience, allowing them to clearly mark their path forward so they and their families may grow and live fuller lives.

Ashleigh is excited to grow her practice in the supportive environment Nunn Vhan & Lang, P.L.L.C. offers. She knows the importance of tailoring the approach to each client’s unique circumstances to achieve that client’s desired goals. Her comprehensive experience in the courts showed Ashleigh that the most important part of any legal matter is that the client feels heard.  She strives to truly listen to and hear her clients so she can advocate for them and make sure their wants and needs are expressed in the most effective and efficient legal manner possible. As a risk evaluator, Ashleigh provides advice on realistic goals and then works with her clients to develop the strategy to fulfill those goals.
